Grower's Tip
To help decide, which grass as a grower you should order and when, here's a quick guide.
The warm-season grasses, or winter dormant, are best grown during long, hot or warm days when there is high sunlight.
The cool-season varieties, or summer dormant group, perform in cool days with low light levels in the winter and shaded areas during the summer.
The third group includes the neutral grasses, the varieties that are year-around growers. Of course, environmental conditions will impact their overall performance, but high or low temperature extremes will not affect their future growing habits.
