Description
This grass is noted for its white-striped foliage, 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide and 6 to 12 inches tall. A small, erect, oat-like spike emerges from May through June and fades in the high summer heat. In hot climates, this grass does best in climates with dry summers and cool nights. A cool-season grass.
